Daylight Basking Lamp
These lamps give off heat and a bright light that mimics sunlight. Perfect for heating sun loving reptiles such as Bearded Dragons, Iguanas, Bosc’s Monitors, Tegus , Chameleons, Water Dragons and other day active lizards. The bulbs are good for planted terrariums as they promote photosynthesis. Use these lamps during the day to create a basking spot that is warmer than the rest of the cage. Use higher wattages for larger cages to provide more heat. Use lower wattages in small cages or provide lower temperatures.
Infrared Heat Lamps
These lamps give off heat and a dull red glow. Reptiles cannot see the red light and these bulbs will not disturb your reptiles sleep. Use Infrared Heat Lamps to provide night time heating for day active reptiles such as Bearded Dragons, Iguanas and Bosc’s Monitors. Perfect for nocturnal reptiles such as Leopard Geckos, Tokay Geckos, Fat Tailed Geckos and Crested Geckos. Infrared Heat Lamps are great for heating tropical snakes such as Boa Constrictors, Ball Pythons, Burmese Pythons, Amazon Tree Boas and Arboreal Vipers. Ceramic Heat Emitter
A Ceramic Heat Emitter gives of a radiant heat that warms both the air and the spot directly under the Ceramic Heat Emitter. Ceramic Heat Emitters do not give off light and can be used to provide heat both day and night. Ceramic Heat Emitters can last for over 20 000 hours and can be left on 24 hours per day. Heat Pad
A flat pad that is placed under a section of the cage to provide belly heat. Heat pads are the best way to heat snakes and are perfect for Corn Snakes, King Snakes, Rat Snakes, Milk Snakes and Ball Pythons. Heat Pads are the best way to heat burrowing snakes such as Horned Adders, Kenyan Sand Boas and Western Hognose Snakes. Heat pads can be used for all nocturnal geckos, place under the substrate for terrestrial geckos. Tape the heat pad to the back of the cage for arboreal geckos. Heat Pads are a low wattage heater that aids in digestion, does not need replacing and is easy to install.
